A lesson from an old man

I was having a conversation with an old man lately, he is the grandfather of one of my friends, I happen to meet him by chance and walk with him a few blocks.
Old is quite a nice word, he is old, 90 years old to be precise.
Anyways, I was listening to his talk about his grandchild, my friend, and how he is still relaying on his parents for support and help, when I asked him about women and dating and how this used to be when he was young.
I couldn’t believe the number of information I got from him, I learned from him more than I’ve learned from many books on the subject.
One of the big nuggets of wisdom he told me was: let her fall in love with not the other way around.
I couldn’t understand it at the moment, I asked him for details and he told me that the woman has to see you as the most perfect men she can ever find.
You have to be a true man for her to believe this; you have to demonstrate power and wisdom with her, protect her and at the same time be ready to walk away from her if she disrespects you.
That walk was very rewarding for me and I’ll sure try to meet him again.
